ART SUNDAY

Hidden away in the south of Cologne is the Wachsfabrik art center; one of the most beautiful places in Cologne.

Since the 1980s, artists have turned the old factory into a place to live and work in the name of art.

Every first Sunday, the doors of the studios, lofts and the café open for visitors and exchanges. Painting, sculpture, photography, music and performance can be seen in ever-changing spaces to be explored.

There are usually guided tours on Art Sundays, as well as special concerts in the summer months in our open-air spaces. Guest artists are regularly invited to some of the studios.
