The Art Späti Unverblümt focuses on the fascinating world of flowers and plants in art. In short guided tours, we discover how their depiction has changed over the centuries - from medieval medicinal plants on altars to Baroque still lifes and the romantic nature paintings of the 19th century. The exhibition B(L)OOMING is the centerpiece of the evening, but other works in the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum also invite visitors to rediscover the floral splendor of art history. A plant quiz, creative hands-on activities, a DJ set in the foyer and cool drinks create the perfect atmosphere for an inspiring evening - perfect for facing the grey January with color and life.

What is an Kunstspäti?

Since October 2015, jungekunstfreunde and job&kunstfreunde have been offering the Kunstspäti, an event format that allows our guests to visit the museums after regular opening hours. Once a quarter, usually on the third Thursday of the month, we alternate between the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum and the Museum Ludwig from 18:00 - 22:00. Our Kunstspätis offer a varied program of short guided tours and hands-on activities, as well as drinks and music in the museum foyer.

Please note that the number of participants per guided tour is limited to a maximum of 25 or 15 people. Registration takes place on site in the museum foyer - 10 minutes before the start of each tour. Just look for the sign saying "Treffpunkt" (meeting point).
As places are limited, it may unfortunately not be possible for all those interested to take part in a tour if there is a large number of people. We ask for your understanding in this case.

You will only receive an overview of all guided tours directly at the museum on the evening itself.
