Chinese landscape painting is not about depicting real landscapes. Rather, it is an expression of a deep connection with nature and the inner imagination. This course focuses on the depiction of houses, bridges and pavilions. You will learn about their symbolic meanings and how they can be brought to life through the interplay of ink and brush. You will then have the opportunity to put your own interpretations on paper. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
