In this weekly class, we’ll be shaping, modeling, casting, gluing, and much more. We work with a variety of exciting materials such as ceramic clay, wood, plaster, cardboard, and papier-mâché. At the beginning of each session, there’s a brief introduction to the topic or material, after which the children become artists themselves and apply the appropriate craft techniques to create their own sculptures. With plenty of fun and imagination, they create figures, reliefs, sculptures, and a wide variety of three-dimensional artworks. For schoolchildren ages 6 to 10.
