The Kyiv Biennial is a nomadic, international project that interweaves artistic, political and social issues. The exhibition at KW presents works from the Kyiv Biennial traveling exhibition as well as new commissions for Berlin. The extensive live program explores concepts of memory, displacement and belonging, foregrounding relational and embodied practices and transnational artists from Berlin's diasporic communities.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, more than one million Ukrainians have been forced to flee to Germany, making them one of the largest diasporic communities in Germany. This guided tour in Ukrainian invites the Ukrainian (speaking) community to explore the exhibition in their native language.
