La Boum - Die Fete

Vic Beretton (Sophie Marceau), a 13-year-old newcomer to Paris, meets Pénélope (Sheila O'Connor) and her sister Samantha (Alexandra Gonin). From then on, the three girls spend a lot of time together, though Vic is eager to gain some experience with boys. She succeeds in this, as Mathieu (Alexandra Sterling) takes an interest in her. However, the two teenagers’ relationship hits a rough patch because Mathieu isn’t being honest. Behind Vic’s back, he’s still seeing another girl. While Vic tries to navigate the challenges of her first steps in a relationship with the opposite sex, her parents’ marriage is falling apart. That’s because Vic’s father, François (Claude Brasseur), is unfaithful to his wife, Françoise (Brigitte Fossey). Vic finds refuge from all the emotional turmoil with her great-grandmother Poupette (Denise Gray), but eventually has to face life head-on again.
