"Lachende Kölnarena" 2025

In the organizer's words:

After 13 completely sold-out events this year, fans of the fifth season are already looking forward to the incomparable atmosphere at the "Laughing Kölnarena" 2025. Since 1999, all the stars of Cologne's carnival have been thrilling their countless celebrating fans in the country's largest multifunctional arena at this traditional format.

From 24.01. to 02.03.2025, the "Laughing Cologne Arena" will host a total of 15 dances, laughter, swaying and singing performances with everything that Cologne carnival has to offer. A colorful program and the traditional self-catering will make the hearts of the Jecken beat faster again next year. The organizers, Gastspieldirektion Otto Hofner GmbH and ARENA Management GmbH, are already looking forward to a carnival-like, jolly time with their guests.

Arena Managing Director Stefan Löcher is euphoric about the 2025 session: "After this year's edition, which was shortened to 13 dates due to the European Handball Championship, we are looking forward to a whole 15 days of events next year and to the jolly atmosphere in the arena. After this year's positive response, we will also open up the upper tier on some dates next year so that even more carnival fans can attend the "Laughing Cologne Arena"!"

Guest performance management Otto Hofner, represented by managing partners Nathalie Drmota and Michael Burgmer, is also looking forward to the coming year with great anticipation: "2025 will be a very special year for us. We are celebrating 60 years of the "Laughing Cologne Sports Hall/Laughing Cologne Arena" and looking back on decades of traditional cult events. The anticipation for the 15 events taking place in 2025 with the stars of Cologne Carnival is immeasurable. Following the absolutely positive atmosphere and response, we will be opening up the upper tier again next year. Together with our co-organizer ARENA Management GmbH, we are looking forward to the start of advance ticket sales on 8 April 2024 for the largest carnival event series in Europe."
