T. S. Steel, a transatlantic FOLK//BLUES//AMERICANA musician originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA, recently moved to Cologne and wasted no time in getting a foothold in the music scene here. A blend of blues influenced by folk from a bygone era. Son House's son, Bob Dylan's shadow, Tom Waits' ashtray and Jack White's iron fist. Resonating metal from harmonica reeds and carefully plucked rhythms on guitar culminate in a powerful sound. A man with fire in his eyes and God as an ace up his sleeve. Steel plays from his repertoire of more than 100 self-penned songs. This is not the only reason why you shouldn't miss his show!

German-language indie rock/wave/pop/post-punk... It used to be different. Neuser stood for indie pop with a British twist. Then came the pandemic and something had to change. Update: successfully executed. Because they've gone one better, both in terms of instrumentation and lyrics. The last three single releases ('Filme', 'Angst' & 'Flashbacks') reflect this updated path: lyrics that are still written by life or that describe life. Between unambiguity and ambivalence, between chaos & hope. Gems of everyday life that yearn for normality. Sometimes restless, sometimes helpless, unadorned beauty. Urgent, heartfelt & convincing.
