We finally return to our living room, our home, our safe space: The King Georg. Autumn begins and we snuggle up together around the campfire deluxe and listen to the sounds of these great artists:
Lukas Meister is an exile from Freiburg, Berliner by choice, singer-songwriter and word acrobat. In his lyrics, he deals with the really big questions: Where should you definitely go, and why not to Berlin? How can you make the end of the world as pleasant as possible? One hundred euros - how much is that in melons? And what does the world look like from the perspective of a snowflake? Between the songs, the master climbs to rhetorical and humorous heights, rants about partner payback cards and bar conversations, shakes up the boundaries of musical cabaret before picking up his guitar again, on which he is a virtuoso accompanist. Along the way, he spices things up with a pinch of melancholy or a detour into Italian - it's guaranteed not to be boring!
"Come on, get in... and let yourself drift with me through dazzling pop landscapes while funky bass lines pulsate through our hearts. Let's chill out in dreamy jazz oases, lose ourselves in bittersweet stories about our innermost longings and deepest fears until we dance into the night to electrifying disco grooves."
Hamburg's music scene has a new gem: Harbour Violet. The talented musician is currently conquering the city's stages with her catchy but detailed songs.
Her lyrics are an open book that tells of her personal struggles, her irrepressible love of (carrot) cake, dramatic detective stories or secret queerness. But no matter how heavy the topics may be, Harbour Violet never loses sight of the groove.
Salomon makes UnPop. It's something between songwriting, rap and comedy.
