Last year, Lalalar was the hottest insider tip, tearing up the CBE in front of an almost sold-out house, but this year he is one of the "must sees" in the concert calendar! With a new album in their luggage, this time they are heading to the other side of the Rhine to Club Volta in Cologne-Mülheim.

"En Kötü Iyi Olur" - "The worst will be good" is another announcement from the three Istanbul bandleaders Ali Güçlü Şimşek. Political, independent, edgy and incredibly energetic. Lalalar's sound reveals the state of mind of entire Turkish generations trapped in over 20 years of autocracy, searching for new ways of expression and sounds. With killer basslines and guitar riffs, dirty electronic beats between industrial and hip-hop and an unmistakable Anatolian influence, they definitely define their very own style and interpretation of a fusion of club-oriented rock and ethnic influences. Ali Güçlü Şimşek's penetrating voice hovers above it all, lending even more depth to his poetic lyrics full of allusions and metaphors. On stage, together with bassist Barlas Tan Özemek, he leaves no corner of the stage untouched, while Alican Tezel has been conjuring up the beats in the background since last summer.
