Our exhibition "Five Friends. John Cage, Merce Cunningham, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Cy Twombly" tells the story of an influential but often overlooked network of five successful and well-known artists. While the artists have received great recognition individually, their strong mutual influences, their friendly, artistic and romantic relationships, have remained largely overlooked and unexplored.

Our last LADO of the year also makes the exchange between the artists tangible once again. In cooperation with the Cologne University of Music and Dance, works by John Cage will be restaged tonight and anchored in the present.

In addition, our Art:Dialogs are in the exhibition and ready for all curious questions.
