US singer-songwriter Lauren Ruth Ward comes to Cologne

Only German concert of her DiY Europe tour - intimate acoustic concert on March 22, 2026at Café Storch

On Sunday, March 22, 2026, Los Angeles-based singer Lauren Ruth Ward will make a stop in Cologne as part of her "MEDiCiNE" do-it-yourself tour. The concert is currently the only concert in Germany on her European tour. At 7 pm, she will present her current album MEDiCiNE at Café Storch (Aachener Straße 17, 50674 Cologne).

The concert is deliberately designed as a small, reduced living room concert and invites the audience to experience music in its most original form: unplugged, unamplified and approachable. MEDiCiNE follows the narrative arc of a journey of self-discovery - from inner reappraisal to the embodiment and expression of one's own truth to the effect on the outside world. In this raw, concentrated performance, the work unfolds a special intensity. The set is complemented by short Q&A moments, selected poems and archive songs, making each concert a unique, non-reproducible experience.

During the approximately one-hour performance, video recordings and cell phone use are deliberately avoided in order to create a protected, shared space for artist and audience.

The Cologne show is part of a deliberately DIY-organized tour, in which all venues are individually selected and made possible by dedicated hosts. As the organizer, I specifically applied - together with Café Bar Storch - to bring this special tour stop to Cologne. I have known Lauren Ruth Ward's music for several years, have already attended two of her concerts myself and would like to actively support her as part of this independent tour. The aim is to create a place where music, encounters and trust take center stage - far away from classical concert structures.
