The next Le Pop show is coming up! Anyone who has ever been to a concert with us knows how beautiful and unique the evening will be!
This time our friends from Thee Verduns from Metz and The Golden Boots from Tucson, Arizona will be there. The boys from Golden Boots played a cult show with their Lo-fi diy kaktusindie for our anniversary 3 years ago and we are very happy to welcome them back! And we are also very much looking forward to Thee Verduns! Nico Moog is not only a talented musician, he is also a legendary underground cartoonist. And Jeanne Rivière is not only a cool drummer, she is also a feminist writer and published her debut novel "Lorraine brûle" last year. Her writing is raw, trashy, poetic, intimate, political, intersectional. We are a fan. Together they play a raw folk punk. This is going to be good!
The Golden Boots & Thee Verduns got together last year and recorded a wonderful album called "Carbon Footprint / Empreinte Carbone", which they now want to play and present for us! Both bands will play their own sets and also join forces to form a DIY supergroup!
As always no VVK, admission on donation basis. Cash only.
