From Harry-Blum-Platz to the Chocolate Museum
A few years ago, Cologne's attractions were the cathedral, the 12 Romanesque churches and the carnival, but there was never any talk of the Rheinauhafen. Today, however, the Rheinauhafen with its old historical and new harbor buildings has become an exciting urban development project. Graduate engineer and architect Ricarda Grothe will guide you through the Rheinauhafen on this day and talk about the history of Cologne with its old harbor buildings, about the influence of a river on the attitude to life, about the former islands of the Rhine. And of course about the new modern architecture and the influence of Feng Shui (wind and water). This guided tour goes from Harry Blum Platz down the Rhine to the Chocolate Museum.
