On February 20, 2024, the magazine 'De Gitarist' Poll Awards voted Dutch guitarist Leif de Leeuw Best BluesRock Guitarist of the Benelux for the 9th time in a row.
Leif and his congenial partner, singer & guitarist Sem Jansen are about to release their 7th album titled "Mighty Fine", which will be released on March 22, 2024.
Multi Award winning guitarist Leif de Leeuw and his great musicians are Europe's newest Southern Blues Rock and Jam band sensation. With the distinctive, expressive voice of singer Sem Jansen, a second drummer and the new piano and keyboard player, the band creates its very own, enormously dense sound and inspires with breathtaking twin-lead guitar solos, 2 grooving drummers and funky-jazzy organ playing. Ingeniously improvised jams turn every show into a unique, thrilling experience.
With their modern style, the enormous skill of each individual musician and incredible feeling, they have become a permanent fixture on the European music scene. They play their songs with virtuosity and ingenuity in the tradition of their idols The Allman Brothers, Derek Trucks Band, Little Feat, Warren Haynes, Derek and the Dominos.
