Lesefestival antifaschistische Literatur: »Aber versuchen wir einen anderen Anfang« Fragmente für eine antifaschistische Praxis Mit Tanasgol Sabbagh und Fabian Saul
In the organizer's words:
In collaboration with Tanasgol Sabbagh, a performative lecture takes shape as a conversation in motion: an attempt to compose the present from texts of resistance. The starting point is Peter Weiss’s *The Aesthetics of Resistance*, but the material branches out—across times, places, and voices. The lecture does not follow a linear line of argument but rather the logic of a musical score: voices begin, overlap, break off, and return. Quotations, poems, political texts, and fragments are not merely read but arranged, shifted, and juxtaposed. Meaning emerges in the rhythm, in the cuts, in the repetition. From this compositional movement, a dialogue about action develops: What does antifascist resistance mean today? How can a practice for the present be derived from historical material without closing it off or pacifying it? What is the role and responsibility of the writers? The intended “handbook” remains fragmentary—more of an open score than a finished text. Poetry shifts toward action; language becomes a test of practice. The performative lecture is conceived as an experimental setup: a space in which thinking, speaking, and possible action mutually influence one another.
