Lesung: „Glozperl“ – Jiddisch-Deutsche Lesung von Katerina Kuznetsova
In the organizer's words:
Katerina Kuznetsova, a Yiddish scholar living in Berlin, is part of the younger generation of Yiddish poets. The range of her poetic themes extends from journeys into space to reflections on the approaching apocalypse and dialogues with nature, all the way to feminist issues.
Her first poetry collection, *Glozperl*, was published in late 2025 by Olniansky Tekst (Sweden). It is the first Yiddish book written by a woman in nearly a decade, as well as the first Yiddish book by a Berlin-based author in a very long time.
Kuznetsova’s Yiddish poems have already been included in anthologies, translated into three languages, and set to music by several artists.
