In the organizer's words:
PHILIPPUS' LITTLE LITERARY SUMMER GARDEN
Katharina Bendixen reads from her book “A Contemporary Form of Love”
She tells of parents and children, of conflicts and overload, of the demands of motherhood and its contradictions. To do so, she employs various literary approaches—from the classic short story to magical-surreal narratives and experimental forms—ranging from therapy reports to the transcript of a parents’ chat group. She incisively dissects everyday family life and holds up a mirror to a society that is both stressed and saturated.
