"Women* To The Front - Women in the Rock Business" was the headline of the music magazine VISIONS in October 2023. We want to explore the question if there is still a need for a focus on women in the music business in 2023. How female is the music business, who pulls the strings and earns a lot of money with it? Is the percentage of women dependent on the genre of music? Does it make sense for festivals like "Rock am Ring" to invite more female acts? Why are the stars of opera, the prima donnas, female, but the leading positions, conductors and directors, predominantly occupied by men? Ahead of the "Female Fall" series concert, we'd like to discuss these and other questions with you.

In 2022, Sylvia Bratzik started the event series "Wait a minute!" at Puren Note, and since July 2023 she has been co-hosting the evenings with Henning Konetzke. On the first Thursday of every month, the two devote themselves to a particular topic with essays, poems and anecdotes. The special feature: Interference is expressly desired. The audience can interrupt at any time and intersperse their own thoughts. As part of the Female Fall series, Bratzik and Konetzke are now expanding their program and venturing out to look at the role of women in the music industry.
