Lesung und Naturgespräch: FLUSSLINIEN und LEBEN AM FLUSS

Katharina Hagena and Hella Kemper read from their books "Flusslinien" and "Leben am Fluss". This will be followed by a discussion about the Elbe (and life).

Katharina Hagena is a freelance author living in Hamburg. In her fourth novel "Flusslinien" (River Lines), she tells of the memories of three generations on the banks of the Elbe, full of sound and imagery. Her novels have been translated into numerous languages and have enjoyed international success.

Hella Kemper is a journalist, author, Germanist and passionate swimmer on the Elbe. She worked for a long time at the history magazine ZEIT and as an editor at ZEIT WISSEN. She is now a news editor at the ZEIT newsdesk in Berlin.
