Trennung verstehen & begleiten - Impulse für Eltern, Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene
In the organizer's words:
Not every separation can be prevented. But how we treat each other, how we communicate and how we support young people in stressful situations makes a difference. Children and young people don't need perfect adults. They need guidance, honesty, reliability and the feeling that they are not alone with their emotions.
A parental separation raises many questions for children, young people and the partners themselves. Where can they find support? How do you master the balancing act between legal obligations and emotional care?
The Fürstenberg Foundation invites you to an information and impulse evening at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 (admission: 6:30 pm, start: 7:00 pm). Experts from psychology, pedagogy, practice, the legal context and the perspective of young adults will shed light on the topic from different angles. The event will be moderated by Andreas Wrede.
The focus will be on the question of how children, teenagers and young adults experience separation - and how they can be well supported during this phase.
The event is aimed at parents and caregivers, students and young adults as well as guardians, educational professionals and all interested parties.
- Admission: Free of charge - but we are happy to receive donations on the evening for the Fürstenberg Foundation's charitable support services.
