Ten years after their separation, Vera and Uli meet again in the house where they spent their life together and raised their daughters. Vera wants to put the past behind her and sell the house—furnished, almost exactly as it is. They actually only plan to take a few personal items with them. But Uli arrives in a van—along with his new partner, Johanna. Vera’s partner, Darius, also shows up; he has secretly followed her.

What begins as a final walk through the house turns into a belated encounter with everything that remains unresolved. Every drawer, every piece of furniture, every photograph reveals something that had long been hidden: what Vera and Uli never said, what they expected of each other, what they missed, what they never understood. And with every object they pick up, it becomes clearer how they could have drifted apart without realizing it in time.
