There are three of us, we look like triplets—and in a way, we are, just not officially. But we are in our hearts! Thomasalways wanted two little brothers, and Merlin and Benito just suddenly showed up. They were already twins. They joined Thomas’s school of magic, and ever since then, a very special bond has developed between them.

“Triple Effect” is our first full-length show together

And it has a very simple motto: Never lose your inner child. Because let’s be honest: Who among us didn’t dream as a child that magic really existed? That you could just conjure up a big teddy bear out of thin air? Or that the Rubik’s Cube would solve itself? That’s exactly where we come in. In our show, childhood memories, modern magic, and imaginative mentalism all come together on stage. Plus, there’s plenty of audience interaction, spontaneous silliness, and moments that are allowed to go wrong—and that’s exactly why they work even better.

And most importantly: AtDrillingseffekt, no one is made to look foolish. We’re grateful for any help from the audience and make sure that everyone feels comfortable and, above all, has fun. At the same time, we want to take our audience on a special journey: a journey that shows how strong friendship can be when you share a common passion—in our case, the art of magic. We share personal stories, offer behind-the-scenes glimpses into this extraordinary “trio of brothers,” and let the audience experience moments that are funny, heartwarming, and sometimes even a little emotional.

And of course: accompanied by some very special effects. Merlin and Benito bring the energy of two brothers who’ve been goofing around together their whole lives. Thomas gets to squeeze in between them and pretend he’s just as young at heart as the two of them. Does magic result? Definitely. And sometimes chaos, too. But always something you won’t forget anytime soon.
