In the organizer's words:

After its first year at the Loreley, Lied United will continue in the cozy pub in the new year. The three makers have been organizing the monthly concert series with two guests and a distinctive profile for twenty years now.

Dominik Wrana

Mannheim musician Dominik Wrana 's style ranges from nineties alternative to 80s songs and singer/songwriter ballads. Wrana masters his guitar with a seemingly somnambulistic confidence, but his deep and occasionally raspy voice is his unique selling point and is definitely captivating.

Tom Words

The second guest, Tom Words, also impresses with his distinctive voice. His songs are emotional snapshots that nevertheless tell whole stories, very much in the tradition of American songwriters. Tom Words' new EP Lookin'Back was created in collaboration with Lied United member Markus Apitius , who will also be accompanying him live on this evening.

Robert Gasper

The series will be opened in January by Lied United crew member Robert Gasper, who describes his music with German lyrics as follows: Pop, punk, chamber music. Raw guitar riffs and haunting piano sounds. Sometimes unspeakably sad and for a short time irritatingly close to Schubert songs, then again of smug lightness and grotesque humor.

Grotesque humor may also be found in the introductions by Wolfgang A. Noethen, who, as always, guides us through the evening.
