Liedstadt Weimar Eröffnungskonzert

In the organizer's words:

On the 50th day after Easter, Christians all over the world celebrate Pentecost. On the evening before Pentecost Sunday, the Liedstadt artists invite you to "Pentecost Singing" in the historic broadcasting hall. Once designed by the National Socialists as a Nietzsche memorial hall, the broadcasting hall served as a studio for concert recordings during the GDR era. The MDR later moved into the premises behind the Villa Silberblick. The Weimar Broadcasting Hall Foundation is opening its doors for Liedstadt - it is now being developed into a historical, educational and cultural venue.
