Three top-ten albums, gold certifications, two ECHO nominations, and sold-out tours—LINA has long known what success looks like.
But in 2025, it’s no longer about checking off numbers or goals. Instead, for the first time, it’s about doing only what truly feels right. No more business as usual. No compromises. New management, new label, Hansa Recordings—and the end of a long-standing relationship. LINA has started from scratch.

“I wanted to find out what happens when I really let my gut feeling be the only thing that decides,” says LINA. Because the 27-year-old knows what it’s like to be stuck in predefined roles—and to realize at some point that there’s more to it than that. She’s been on stage, in front of cameras, and behind the mic since childhood. Singer, actress, voice actress.

LINA was discovered on “Dein Song,” the TV competition for young songwriters, before becoming a star as Bibi Blocksberg in the “Bibi & Tina” movie series—four films, over 3.5 million moviegoers, and an entire generation that grew up with LINA. LINA has also long been established as a voice actress—and not just in one role. She lent her voice to the main character in the international Disney production “Moana” and will return to the role in 2025 for the sequel. She also voiced one of the main characters in the U.S. animated film “UglyDolls”—just one example of her numerous voice acting projects.

At the same time, she launched her music career and released her debut album “Official” in 2016, which was immediately certified gold. This was followed by “EGO” (2017) and “R3bellin” (2018), both of which entered the Top 5 on the charts and took LINA on sold-out tours throughout Germany. Two ECHO nominations for “Best National Pop Artist” underscored her status as a fixture in German pop.

In 2023, her third album, “24/1,” was released—a personal and musically mature work that showcased the full range of her songwriting for the first time. Alternating between driving pop songs and quiet moments, LINA sounded more self-assured, more reflective, and even closer to what defines her today: an artist who doesn’t view pop as a template, but as a canvas for stories that convey more than just the obvious.

But all that was a long time ago. Today, LINA is writing her own story—even beyond music and film. Since 2023, she has been hosting her podcast “Fühl ich,” where she shares personal experiences related to mental health every Thursday.

Together with experts and celebrity guests like Phil Laude and Lucas Kaschinski, she discusses the challenges of growing up, debunks stereotypes, and answers questions from her community. She speaks openly about what it was like to grow up in the spotlight, how life on tour and therapy go hand in hand—and why she still struggles with her own fears to this day.

And it’s precisely this openness that comes through in her music. Fresh off signing with Hansa Recordings, her new songs sound like they’re from someone who knows what she wants—and what she doesn’t. Less polished, less conventional, but more direct, clearer, and more honest.

“I’m done with half-measures. No half-feelings, no half-songs,” says LINA.
