In the organizer's words:
***English below***
Interested in Lindy Hop? It’s a social dance set to swing music. The idea is to create a dance together—with a partner and the music—with a focus on creativity and often a bit of silliness.
The dance roles are “lead” and “follow” instead of “gentleman” and “lady.” In our workshop, everyone gets to try both roles so you can see which one you enjoy more: leading, following, or switching.
You don’t need any prior experience—just comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders and waist, shoes with as non-slip (flat) a sole as possible, and maybe a change of shirt. (It’s a workout—we’ll be sweating 😉)
Since Lindy Hop is a social dance, we frequently switch dance partners. So you don’t need a regular dance partner and can come alone.
Free registration is required at lisa.schlode@qzm-rn.de.
The workshop will be held in German and English.
Caro, the workshop leader, is looking forward to seeing you!
The event space is fully accessible and features an accessible restroom. If you have any questions about accessibility at the QZM, please contact info@qzm-rn.de
