What's it all about?
Linux is a free alternative to Windows and macOS that runs smoothly on both new and older devices. We’ll start with a short introductory talk to introduce you to the operating system.The main part of the eventis the workshop, where we’ll help you install Linux on your own devices. If you’re not quite ready to make the switch yourself or would like to get an overview of your options, you can try out the system on one of our test devices on-site.
Come on by and bring your laptops!
Workshop Schedule
- Keynote Presentation:A brief introduction to the philosophy and benefits of Linux.
- Hands-on Workshop:We’ll actively help you install Linux directly on your own laptops.
- Test Stations:If you’re still undecided, you can try out the operating system at your own pace on our test devices and get a feel for it.
