Listening Session

The next and 9th Listening Session will take place again on Thursday, 29.01.2026, and is entitled

"Un voyage européenne! - Music from Europe"

Genre and decade boundaries deliberately play no role. The audience can look forward to a stylistically open selection - from jazz and new wave to funk and other genres. The format is aimed specifically at a clientele with an affinity for culture and music who enjoy listening to music consciously, discovering new things and engaging with curated content - beyond classic club or bar evenings.

It is a monthly listening event without admission that is dedicated to consciously engaging with music. Our events currently take place at King Georg in Cologne, always from 20:00 to at least 01:00.

The core idea of the Listening Session is to introduce people to high-quality music in a pleasant, concentrated environment. Once a month - usually on a Thursday towards the end of the month - we choose a themed musical concept around vinyl culture. We regularly invite guests to these themes, who can apply for a themed evening. Each invited person is given 30 minutes to present a selection of music that fits the theme.
