Christian Brückner (the German voice of Robert de Niro) and Martin Auer are back on stage together in 2026 with their new narrative concert "100 Miles" to honor the legendary jazz musician Miles Davis on his 100th birthday anniversary. The two artists share a great love of jazz.
On May 26, 1926, a milestone in jazz history saw the light of day in Illinois: Miles Davis. He picked up a trumpet for the first time at the age of nine and went on to become one of the most influential jazz musicians of the 20th century and perhaps of all time. 100 years later, Christian Brückner and Martin Auer are focusing on Miles Davis in their new project "100 Miles" in order to shed new light on his diversity, genius and ambivalence, both musically and as a personality.
Miles Davis not only shaped timeless musical styles but also influenced social trends such as the philosophy of the existentialists, and all this through his uncompromising playing and his enormous significance for music. Discover new facets or "Another Kind of Miles" in a musical and humorous reading about this enfant terrible of jazz with the Martin Auer Quintett and Christian Brückner.
You can look forward to an evening that celebrates the master of the trumpet and composition with music and humor!
