THE BOOKKEEPERS is a documentary journey through the fascinating world of antiquarians, a dwindling community of people who have dedicated their lives to collecting and preserving old books. The film follows three main characters - booksellers Monika, Rainer and Christiaan's father Helmut - and sheds light on their everyday lives, their passion and the challenges they face in a rapidly changing world.
LOST CHAPTERS is a tightly woven docu-fiction about family, memory and the search for a lost book. After years abroad, Ena is back in Venezuela: while her grandmother slowly loses her memory, her father collects rare books to preserve his country's literary past. Ena discovers a mysterious postcard in one of the books, which she uses to track down a long-forgotten writer from Caracas.
