Special: Top Gun Double

Top Gun - They fear neither death nor the devil: young Lieutenant Pete ''Maverick'' Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is a fighter pilot in the United States Navy. On a delicate mission, Maverick and his weapons systems officer Nick ''Goose'' Bradshaw (Anthony Edwards) have to disobey the orders of their commander Stinger (James Tolkan) in order to help a comrade who has had a panic attack. As a result, Maverick and Goose are reluctantly recommended by Stinger for training at the United States Navy Fighter Weapons School, called ''Top Gun''. There, Maverick immediately engages in a rivalry with flight student Tom ''Iceman'' Kazanski (Val Kilmer). He also gets into trouble because of his reckless flying style. Although he regularly wins flight battles, e.g. against instructor Lieutenant Commander Rick ''Jester'' Heatherly (Michael Ironside), he breaks the rules of engagement and doesn't exactly act as a team player.*** Top Gun Maverick: Pete ''Maverick'' Mitchell (Tom Cruise) has been a top pilot for the Navy for more than 30 years. As a fearless test pilot, he explores the limits of what is possible and avoids the promotion that would banish him to the ground. When he is assigned to train a group of top gun trainees for a special mission, he meets Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller) nicknamed ''Rooster'', the son of Maverick's deceased co-pilot and friend Nick Bradshaw, ''Goose''. Confronted with the ghosts of the past, Maverick is forced to confront his deepest fears as the special mission will demand the ultimate sacrifice from all those chosen for this assignment.
