In the form of a romantic music dinner for Valentine's Day, Mannheim-based singer Lorena Huber presents some of her favorite songs with the support of her band and leads the audience through the evening musically with her natural, likeable manner. With her soulful yet powerful voice, Lorena Huber won the coveted "German Rock and Pop Award" in Siegen in 2017 as best female rock singer and was nominated in the "best female singer" category.
The musical dinner includes a 3-course menu including aperitif, where you as our guest will be enchanted after each course with a mixture of soulful ballads and powerful rock songs. Forget everyday life for a few hours and enjoy the band's music and the delicious food prepared by Britta and her Rampenlicht team, who place great emphasis on sustainability and focus on regional and seasonal dishes. Experience the stylish ambience and immerse yourself in a world of sensual pleasures while you forget all your worries for a few hours.
In recent years, Lorena Huber has appeared on stage in Capitol Mannheim's own production "Mauerspringer", at the "European Open" in Hamburg, at "Adler Mannheim" and as the opening act for "Ray Wilson" and "Subway to Sally". When she is not on the road with the acoustic bands "Taste of White" and "Acoustic Rock Night", or rocking the stages of the Rhine-Neckar region with her own band "The Rocking Souls", she can be seen as a guest singer in various bands and productions alongside artists such as Hagen Grohe (Rockwood), Oliver Rosenberger (AMOKOMA), Claus Hassing (Bryan Adams Tribute), Sascha Krebs (Tanz der Vampire), Stefan Kahne (Andreas Kümmert) and Arno Sälzer (Söhne Mannheims).
Manuel Machel, also known from the band "The Wright Thing", stands out from other saxophonists thanks to his incredible energy and his haunting saxophone solos. In addition to his incomparable charisma and talent for feeling his way into every genre, Manuel Machel succeeds like no other in making every song his own. You have to experience him live, because this expressiveness is difficult to describe in words. Together with the precise string playing of guitarist Marcus Volpert and the sensitive piano sounds of Tobias Ruf, this band provides the necessary soundscape to make Lorena Huber's extraordinary voice shine.
