Anyone who claims that Germans have no sense of humor doesn't know their Loriot! His mockery is subtle and endearing. His characters are unique. Their creator is not above them, but beside them.
On, under and around the sofa, which has become a cult object thanks to Loriot, the characters who amuse us so much because they are so close and so similar to us, cavort in the Hofspielhaus.
Legendary figures from the stone louse to "Grandpa Hoppenstedt", from "Mr. Müller-Lüdenscheid" and "Doctor Klöbner" to "Lord Heskerth-Fortescue of Gwyneth Molesworth in Nether Addlethorpe" gather in a fast-paced sequence of sketches.
In addition to classics such as "The Yodeling Diploma" or "The Noodle", rarely shown scenes of astonishing topicality invite the audience to rediscover Loriot's humorous genius!
