The group has been in existence since 1975. Over the course of time, the artistic concept has been brought to its current level through personnel changes and constant creative group dynamics.
Apart from the instruments (accordion, washboard, bass, guitars, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, horn, banjo, harmonica, kazoo, flute), which go beyond the scope of traditional skiffle bands, we have little in common with the puritan skiffle bands.
Stylistically, we move on and between all musical genres
(classical, folk music, pop, jazz, rock, folk etc.).
The charm of the programs is created by the following artistic design elements:
The moderation always refers to the specific audience and current events of the day, for which pieces of music are specially selected or created.
The resulting surprising contexts always lead to spontaneous irony and make each program unique. This ensures an enthusiastic audience.
Every performance is discussed and planned in detail beforehand, both in terms of content and music. The choreography on stage also plays an important role.
All songs are dramaturgically rehearsed down to the last detail from the movement sequence on stage and thus gain their own tension and individual characteristics.
The musical material is not simply imitated, but mercilessly reworked and alienated (new lyrics, special instrumentation, musical processing, reinterpretation and new interpretations).
