His musical spectrum ranges from country blues and Chicago blues to rock'n'roll, soul and gospel music. He fills the stage with his acoustic guitar alone. His unusual fingerpicking style, in which rhythm and melody are played simultaneously, creates a multi-layered sound that leaves you amazed that there is only one guitar at work here. Carried along by a rousing beat, his impulsive yet soulful soloing unfolds naturally. His deep devotion and expressive, distinctive voice make Peter Kern an unmistakable, unique musician.

With his own songs, which tell personal stories and give courage, as well as covers of his great role models such as Jimmy Reed, Elmore James and Lightnin' Hopkins, he presents an enormously extensive repertoire.
