LUNA SIMAO's modern R&B combines Afro beats, soul, pop and elegant minimalist sound design. In April 2026, she will go on a headlining tour in Germany.

Born in the mid-1990s, LUNA SI MAO already competed for Schleswig-Holstein in the Bundesvision Song Contest as a teenager. Lübeck's finest: Not even of age yet and completely unpublished, she was the youngest participant ever and was even chosen by the public ahead of established acts such as Max Herre. With the song "Es geht bis zu den Wolken" she immediately achieved a chart position.

Her remarkable start in the German music scene said a lot about the enormous talent that the artist proactively nurtured: LUNA SIMAO has been making music since her earliest youth, taking piano and guitar lessons and developing her own musical signature early on. Today, she has established herself as an expressive and independent artist, and her brilliant sound - a mix of moving soul, grooving R'n'B and Afro beats as well as cleverly placed influences of Angolan music - is the stage for her clever German lyrics, which are deeply moving.
