LUVRE47 is different from the usual German rappers from Berlin's problem neighborhoods. Of course, his dark but also punchy tracks are also about his origins - in this case Gropiusstadt in the south of Neukölln, a collection of tall prefabricated buildings in which an extremely heterogeneous mixture of individual social biotopes can be found. But LUVRE47 doesn't rap about bling-bling, ostentation or big-man addiction, but offers subtle, reflected street lyricism whose toughness lies in its attention to detail. Last February, LUVRE47 released his long-awaited debut album "HERZ" after five EPs, and now his second long player "1000 Nächte" has already been announced for December 16. In November 2023 then follows a major tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland: between November 2 and 25, LUVRE47 will make guest appearances in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Zurich, Hanover, Rostock, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Munich, Vienna, Saarbrücken, Cologne as well as Berlin. LUVRE47 stands for modern lyrical street rap from the south of Neukölln, more precisely: Gropiusstadt. He knows how to combine wordplay with ignorance and lyrical exaggeration with harsh reality. LUVRE47 is not always afraid of the spotlight, but that's what makes him so authentic. His motto: loyalty to the death. Loyalty to his district and his childhood home - as difficult as the circumstances were and are (LUVRE47 still lives in Gropiusstadt). A promise towards the "good" rap and the spraying of trains and subways. A direct connection to the, as he says, "classic everyday hustle, and the daily struggle to stay afloat with all means". But above all: unconditional loyalty to oneself and to what one wants to do. Sometimes anger gets the upper hand, sometimes melancholy. This loyalty goes back to his stage name: The 47 stands for the former postal code of the southern part of Berlin-Neukölln - Gropiusstadt. Since 1993, the 47 no longer has any practical meaning, though LUVRE continues to use the number for its symbolic value. Already with his first EPs like "No Face No Name" (2017), "Nix Is Gut" (2019) "Hamsterrad" (2020) and "2222" (2021) LUVRE47 proved that he can do more than just tell about graffiti and street stories. On his debut album "HERZ", released in February, he showed himself musically more multifaceted than ever. Among many other topics, he even "allows" himself a love song on it: "Kein Bock," recorded together with the young indie voice Paula Hartmann. And with almost six million Spotify plays, it's already far more than just a big underground hit. 3sat filmed its own documentary about the making of the album: "Ab 18! - Luvre's Release." Many of his tracks have already crashed the one-million mark on Spotify, such as the contentwise captivatingly realistic single "Nix is gut," which, with over three million streams by now, put him on the Germany-wide map of the most important MCs of unpolished street lyricism for the first time; even a freestyle from the U7 - the train that takes you to Gropiusstadt - already counts 2.5 million plays. Felix Lobrecht was also impressed by the rapper's talent; not for nothing does LUVRE47 play a leading role in his soon to be released film "Sonne und Beton". The fact that LUVRE47 can also perform outstandingly live, he proved impressively on his first tour, which was a complete success in every respect. Success is not everything that drives him - it is much more important to him to form his anger and melancholy credibly into tracks. Because about success and material goods he says: "Roughly speaking, you're actually surrounded by capitalism 24/7 and bombarded with advertising everywhere, so you end up making yourself the exact same puppet - even if you don't celebrate it." -
