MAECKES is one of the most influential rappers, songwriters and music innovators of our time, has cyphered in the Juze, has a band ("Die Orsons") and a band ("Die Katastrophen") with whom he has torn down festivals, clubs and halls, and has staged his own operas. He is constantly reinventing himself at his almost legendary guitar concerts and can now play the guitar quite well. He has been writing songs like nobody else in this country for more than ten years. MAECKES' music is sometimes abysmal and sometimes silly, sometimes mega-meta and sometimes of utterly disarming vulnerability. Most of the time, it is all of these things at the same time.

The "gitarren album", the essence of over a decade of MAECKES, will be released in March 2024. Songs like little plays and plays like big songs. An album full of surprises, twists and goosebump moments. Of course you can (must!) see it live, because this tour is so much more than just a classic guitar concert or a visit to the party church. It's the best of MAECKES of the last decade - without any seats, but maybe with sitting down and maybe with jumping around.
