About the Program
This program features original compositions by Mahsa Vahdat set to works by the great poets of Persian literature Hafez, Rumi, Forough Farrokhzad, and Mohammad Ibrahim Jafari. Inspired by the spirit of Nowruz, the Persian New Year, the repertoire celebrates renewal, beauty, and the enduring vitality of Persian poetry and music.
