Make Them Suffer are one of the hottest modern metalcore bands of the moment. Over the last 16 years and with the release of five albums, the band's sound has evolved from deathcore to modern metalcore, which is often enriched with a lot of groove, hard breakdowns, atmospheric synthesizers and catchy choruses. Make Them Suffer finally achieved their international breakthrough in 2020 with their album "How To Survive A Funeral". The album reached number 17 in the Australian charts, the highest position in the band's history. Their most successful song "Erase Me" has over 26 million streams on Spotify and ranks alongside "Ghost Of Me" and"Doomswitch" from the 2024 album "Make Them Suffer" as one of the band's most successful tracks. After a tour as direct support for Bury Tomorrow in November 2024, Make Them Suffer will return to Germany for seven concerts in spring 2025. The tour will be supported by the French post-hardcore band Resolve, the English post-metal quartet Conjurer and the US metalcore band If Not For Me and offers a top-class package for all fans of modern metal and hardcore.

Make Them Suffer were founded in 2008 in Perth, Australia by singer Sean Harmanis and guitarist Nick McLernon and self-released their first EP "Lord Of Woe" in 2010. After signing to Roadrunner Records, they released their debut album "Neverbloom" in 2012, followed by "Old Souls " (2015), which reached number 56 and number 30 in the Australian charts respectively. In 2016, Make Them Suffer signed to Rise Records and released the single "Ether", which quickly became their most successful track to date. The first singles followed in 2017, foreshadowing the release of their third album "Worlds Apart", which celebrated the next hit with "Uncharted" and allowed Make Them Suffer to arrive stylistically with progressive and symphonic traits. After a few line-up changes, the successful album "How To Survive A Funeral" was released in 2020 with songs such as "Step One", "Bones" and "Erase Me". The standalone single "Contraband" feat. Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox was released in June 2021. In 2022, singer and keyboardist Booka Nile left the band after taking part in the reality TV format Married at First Sight in 2021, which brought the band a lot of attention, and was replaced by Alex Reade.

In May 2023, Make Them Suffer signed to Sharptone Records and released the singles "Ghost Of Me" and "Epitaph". With the single "Oscillator", the band announced their fifth studio album "Make Them Suffer", which was released in November 2024.
