Marion & Sobo Band - Anniversaire Jubiläumstour

After three sold-out concerts at the Pantheon in Bonn, the Marion & Sobo Band is returning to celebrate its anniversary with you in 2027!

Fifteen years ago, French singer Marion Lenfant-Preus, Polish guitarist “Sobo” (Alexander Sobocinski), and their fellow musicians met during a jam session at a small café in Bonn. Today, the vocal global gypsy jazz band tours throughout Germany—with over 60 concerts a year—and occasionally performs abroad as well. Of course, they remain loyal to their adopted home of Bonn to this day.

The band’s hallmarks are its warm connection with the audience, its European spirit, lively original compositions, and fresh interpretations of musical traditions—from France to the Balkans. They sing in French, English, German, Romani, and Spanish. Charm, lightheartedness, humor, and a palpable joy in performing turn every concert into a musical mini-vacation. The Marion & Sobo Band has always stood for music that defies categorization—spanning generations and cultures.

Among the band’s musical highlights are joint performances with the internationally renowned guitarists Joscho Stephan and Lulo Reinhardt. The Marion & Sobo Band also recently released their seventh album, *Belle Histoire*, in collaboration with Quadro Nuevo. The project “Quadro Nuevo meets Marion & Sobo” is also presented live and can currently be seen on tour from time to time.
