With his various vintage keyboards and on the grand piano as MD for Brazilian soul superstar Ed Motta or with his band Mo' Blow, Matti Klein earned his reputation as one of the most interesting young groove jazz players on the German scene, guesting in renowned clubs like Ronnie Scott's London, Blue Note Tokyo, Highline Ballroom NYC, as well as international festivals like Pori Jazz, Jazz in Marciac and the Leverkusener Jazztage and sharing stage and studio with stars like Nils Landgren, Jimmy Somerville, David T. Walker, Sarah Connor and Herbert Grönemeyer. "The soulful jazz mix served up by keyboardist Matti Klein with Lars Zander on saxophone and bass clarinet and drummer André Seidel, his partner from "Mo' Blow" days, has addictive potential.
