Country singer Megan Moroney comes to Germany in 2026 with a new album

Country singer-songwriter Megan Moroney from Douglasville, Georgia, got off to a dream start: her first EP "Pistol Made of Roses" made waves in the US country scene in 2022. When she then released the first pre-release singles for her debut album "Lucky", things got off to an even better start. The charming, beautifully sung country-pop song "Tennessee Orange", which went viral in September 2022 and touched many Americans deeply, was to blame. In it, Moroney tells the love story of two young people who shouldn't actually be in love.

Since then, things have continued to go well for Megan Moroney, whose songwriting and style reminds many of the young Taylor Swift - although it has to be said that Moroney focuses less on teenage themes than Taylor did on her first albums.

Her second album "Am I Okay" was released in 2024 and is particularly convincing in the rather guitar-pop title track and the sighingly beautiful country ballad "No Caller ID". In October of this year, she then announced album number 3: "Cloud 9" will be released on February 20, 2026 and will be the occasion of her German tour. The first single from it, "Beautiful Things", is already Megan Moroney at her finest: Her voice shimmers and shines, the steel guitar wails discreetly in the background and some fans would like to have her lyrics tattooed on their skin, and not without good reason.

In September, Megan Moroney will play her only German concert to date in 2026 in Cologne at Carlswerk Victoria.
