In the organizer's words:

Print in multiple colors & continue working experimentally

In this workshop, you will get to know the multicolored linocut from the ground up and combine it with open mixed-media experiments. Step by step, you will work with linoleum, tools, colors and printing techniques and develop your own motif in several layers of color.

In the second part, your lino print becomes the basis for further design: You will use collage, drawing, lettering and color to change and deepen your image. Different materials and letter stamps are at your disposal - you decide how far you want to go.

The workshop is process-oriented: You will work without pressure to perform, gain technical confidence and have room to experiment. No previous knowledge is required.

You will be accompanied by Christina Koester, sculptor, and Stephanie Frost, art educator, with clear impulses and individual support.

Why you should take part:
You will learn a new printing technique, work freely and experimentally, consciously take your creative time - and go home with at least two high-quality lino prints on very good paper.

Who is it for?

For beginners and participants with some printing experience. Curiosity and a desire to experiment are enough.

Materials

All materials are included in the price: Linoleum plates, tools, special printing inks and two large prints on high-quality paper.
Additional requirements will be communicated transparently in the workshop.
