Mein lieber Schwan - eine musikalische Komödie

The mid-thirties of the last century. Improvisation is the order of the day for a musical duo banned from performing. This is how the tingeltange diva and the Jewish backyard tenor end up on the stage of the Walhalla Wippelsdorf e.V. music society under a false name. But this is Wagner's Ring and not pop songs! The stage is already prepared, but what is a swan doing in Wagner's Ring? Will the two of them succeed in selling their version of Wagner's heroic sagas to the obviously ignorant audience?
With wit, fabulousness and the courage of desperation, they literally play for their lives and serve up a showpiece full of ingenuity and situation comedy, garnished with the unforgotten melodies of Friedrich Hollaender ("Die fesche Lola"), Ralph Benatzky ("Es muss was Wunderbares sein"), Werner Richard Heymann ("Ein Freund, ein guter Freund") and Oscar Straus - all composers who had to live in exile during the Nazi regime.
