The actress, director and writer Adriana Altaras traces her family history in her books - from her brilliant debut Tito's Glasses to the tender portrait of her aunt in Better Alone than in Bad Company. In Wo wir zu Hause sind , Maxim Leo also follows in the footsteps of his family members who have long since left Germany behind and travels to visit his relatives in England, Israel and France. Dana von Suffrin has published two impressive novels, Otto and Nochmal von vorne, in which she shows how the violent history of the 20th century is inscribed in different ways in the everyday lives of today's families. On stage, the three authors talk about Jewish narrative traditions, about the possibilities of processing biographies in their own literary writing and about the diversity of Jewish life.
