2030: The party is over. In the remains of a celebration, we meet three figures who look back on the path of the new political change. Klaus Mann's novel "Mephisto" tells of the rise of an actor under National Socialism. MEPHISTO. UNDER PRESSURE combines excerpts from the novel with today's realities and interviews with cultural figures to create a bitter, poetic look at what could be in store for us - or is already part of everyday life elsewhere.
