The Cologne-based band "Meta und der Wolf" tells of the highs and lows of everyday life with versatile, German-language indie pop, but sometimes also loses itself in fantastic reveries - always accompanied by powerful piano sounds, spherical sounds and polyphonic vocals. Whether longing for the unknown, fear of loss or their own artistic process, the band around songwriters Christian von Toperczer, Felix Heinrichs and Matthias Dieckmann combine their different approaches to lyrics and music in their joint exploration of concrete observations and open questions. With the addition of Juliane Fehn on drums and Ivano Sorrentino on electric guitar, the sound has changed noticeably: It's punchier, edgier - more honest? Their concerts are more than just a musical experience. They are the antithesis of loneliness, a place for closeness and shared experience.
