Jordan McKampa (20.00h)
The Congo-born Londoner had his breakthrough in his early twenties. Initially he impressed with authentic folk music, but after a remarkable musical development we now see a self-confident soul star with breathtaking flair. Someone who is increasingly accepting himself and his work and bringing his personal musical taste to the stage. His timeless sound combines influences from Bill Withers, Blackstreet, Marvin Gaye and Dur Hill and is bursting with joie de vivre. Beware of the risk of infection! On his new album "Welcome Home, Kid!" Mackampa addresses himself with the words "I just wanna tell you that I'm proud of you". Words that we should all say to ourselves from time to time. We have already enjoyed Mackampa's show and were more than thrilled! Sold-out tours and millions of streams also speak for themselves.
Ife Ogunjobi (21.30)
Ife Ogunjobi is one fifth of the band Ezra Collective, with whom he won the Mercury Prize last year and sold out stadiums like Madison Square Garden. This year he released his first solo project, and we are thrilled to welcome him back with just that. The musician, who grew up in London and has Nigerian roots, combines the sounds of his childhood in his music. Growing up in South East London, he was influenced by various genres such as jazz, afrobeat and hip-hop. Influenced by artists such as Fela Kuti, Erykah Badu and Freddie Hubbard, his music knows no boundaries. So you can look forward to a show that turns from a spiritual jazz solo to an exuberant Afrobeat party in the blink of an eye.
Deki Alem (23.00)
When Deki Alem take to the stage, there won't be a dry eye in the house. The Swedish brothers fuse subgenres such as drum & bass, dance, grunge and rap into an energetic show that is second to none! After a few singles in recent years, the duo released their debut EP "Among Heads" together with producers Richard Zastenker and Johannes Klahr (Drake, Lady Gaga and more). The success of the project led to a European tour as the opening act for Gorillaz and a nomination for the prestigious Swedish Grammis in the "Best Alternative Pop Music" category this year.
In addition, Giunni Tunes will be on the turntables before and between the concerts and Ova will take care of the afterparty on our DJ stage.
